The work being done now at Kish Expo is a series of discussions and meetings aimed at organizing trade and encouraging countries that can be our partners in this endeavor. With their cooperation, we can take advantage of the created opportunities in the region, which includes many free trade zones in neighboring countries such as Qatar, the UAE, Oman, Azerbaijan, Turkey, Armenia, and even through the sea to Russia—countries that offer significant trade potential. We consider Kish Expo to be a great endeavor, provided that it is pursued with full determination. The Kish Free Zone, one of the most established and resource-rich free zones, can be the hub for this initiative, involving other free zones, and we aim to grow the sea-based economy, increasing its share of economic growth from one percent to eight percent."
